HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CLASS HOURS FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Kyrgyzstan CPD [2023-2027] (DP/FPA/CPD/KGZ/5)
The proposed country programme was designed following extensive consultations with government counterparts, civil society and other stakeholders, including young people, religious leaders, key populations, United Nations and development partners. It supports the implementation of the national development strategy 2040, the national development programme 2026, the concept of youth policy, 2020-2030, the national health and health system development programme, 2019-2030: healthy person–prosperous country, the national gender equality strategy, 2022-2030, the concept of development of civic identity (‘Kyrgyz Zharany’), 2021-2026, and the State programme on HIV, 2022-2026. The country programme is aligned with the UNSDCF, 2023-2027, the 2030 Agenda, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and the Istanbul Protocol, and it will address the unfinished agenda of the ICPD Programme of Action, including the Nairobi summit voluntary commitments. UNFPA will work with other United Nations organizations and the international community to support implementation and monitoring of the accepted recommendations from CEDAW, CRPD and the universal periodic review

Statistical Digest «Women and Men of the Kyrgyz Republic» provides data on the population, representation of women and men in the public administration authorities, employment and unemployment, living standards, education, health care, crime, and domestic violence for 2016–2020.
Youth Wellbeing and Development Index in Kyrgyz Republic
The YWDI is an analytical comprehensive indicator of the dynamics of change in the situation of youth in the Kyrgyz Republic, viewed through: - development - as a process of irreversible quantitative and qualitative changes according to established criteria; - well-being - as a social, physiological, psychological and material condition of youth.
The purpose of the YWDI is to determine the main directions of youth policy development and improve the quality of decisions made at the national and local levels concerning the youth of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Every human being has the right to bodily autonomy, and perhaps nothing is more fundamental to the exercise of that right than the ability to choose whether, when and with whom to become pregnant. SITUATION ANALYSIS REPORT on introduction of Out-of-School Comprehensive Sexuality Education among adolescents and youth in Kyrgyzstan
Comprehensive sexuality education is a curriculum-based process of teaching and learning about the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social aspects of sexuality. It aims to equip young people and children with knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that will empower them to realize their health, well-being, and dignity; develop respectful social and sexual relationships; consider the well-being of others that are affected by their choices; and understand and ensure the protection of their rights throughout their lives.
Access of vulnerable youth to key services in the Kyrgyz Republic
The report presents the results of a study conducted with the aim of determining the degree of vulnerability of various groups of young people in the country, as well as the availability of public services for them in the field of education, health, information, law, employment, civic and political participation. We hope that the results of this study will contribute to the CCA, the upcoming UNSCDF and our other strategic programming initiatives helping us improve in the implementation of the principle of ‘leaving no one behind’.

The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on sexual and reproductive health of women in the Kyrgyzstan
The Kyrgyz Republic presented desk review of the impact of COVID-19 on reproductive health, using operational data from the Ministry of Health and Social Development and qualitative questionnaires among decision makers, health care providers and patients at the Central Asian Reproductive Health Forum in March 2021.
