UNFPA Global

UNFPA is the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency. Our mission is to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled.

We promote gender equality and empower women, girls and young people to take control of their bodies and their futures. We work with partners in more than 150 countries to provide access to a wide range of sexual and reproductive health services, with the goal of ending unmet need for family planning, preventable maternal death and gender-based violence and harmful practices including child marriage female genital mutilation by 2030.

Страновой представитель

Ронни Линдстром

Г-н Ронни Линдстром официально вступил в должность Представителя ЮНФПА в Казахстане и Странового директора в Туркменистане и Кыргызстане в марте 2022 года. До своего назначения в регион Восточной Европы и Центральной Азии г-н Линдстром работал Представителем ЮНФПА в Восточном Тиморе с января 2018 года. Г-н Линдстром начал свою карьеру в ЮНФПА с Центральной Азии: здесь он работал в качестве Программного сотрудника республик центральноазиатского региона, базирующихся в Узбекистане. Он также работал в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе и в Департаменте управленческих услуг, где, помимо прочего, занимал должность секретаря Комитета по рассмотрению контрактов. Позже господин Линдстром работал заместителем Представителя ЮНФПА в Китае, откуда затем был откомандирован в CEB секретариат при канцелярии Генерального секретаря в Женеве, после чего вернулся в ЮНФПА в Дили, Восточный Тимор. Родом из Швеции, господин Линдстром имеет степень бакалавра гуманитарных наук в области политологии и истории университета Дельты (США), магистра политических наук университета Миссисипи (США), степень магистра политических наук Калифорнийского университета (США) и степень доктора политологии  Калифорнийского университета в Риверсайде (США).
