With the support of the Ministry of Health in the Kyrgyz Republic, the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), initiatives are commencing for the screening, information dissemination, and heightened awareness regarding the prevention of cervical cancer.

The primary objective is to bring women's attention to the issues of cervical and breast cancer, prompting contemplation on the importance of preventive measures. Specifically, cervical cancer screening is recommended for women aged 30 or older at intervals of no more than 5 years, and vaccination is proposed for girls aged 9-14. These preventive measures aim to safeguard against human papillomavirus infection and the associated risks of cervical cancer.
