The National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic with a support of UNFPA organized the consultative meeting to discuss the content and revision of the statistical book "Women and Men of the Kyrgyz Republic" with the participation of stakeholders, including producers and users of statistical information. Participants provided their comments and proposals to the working group on the content and structure of the new publication.

The main objective of the meeting was to expand indicators, to revise and create user- friendly publication with visual elements. The new revised version of the men and women publication includes topic of the gender aspect, population structure, life expectancy, morbidity, education, employment by type of economic activity, representation in government bodies.
