Bishkek, 4 April 2014 Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) jointly with UNFPA CO conducted the Round Table on Achievements and challenges of the ICPD PoA implementation in Kyrgyzstan. In 2012 Kyrgyzstan provided response to the Global survey on ICPD with the involvement of all relevant ministries, civil society and expert community. During the Round Table 5 line ministries made a presentations on achievements and challenges in their areas of work.

This Round table was conducted as the preparation for the 47th Session of the UN Commission on Population and Development. All members of the official delegation participated in the RT and the statement was reviewed and finalized based on participants’ comments.
