The United Nations Population Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic (UNFPA) and the Economic Policy Research Institute of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the study of population dynamics and demography. The parties agreed to cooperate in the development and implementation of the Concept of Demographic Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2040 and to provide advisory/informational support in the development and promotion of analytical materials.
Demography is related to many areas, including economics, education, health care (reproductive health, family planning), youth, migration, gender equality, etc. The concept of demographic policy will define policy measures in various areas of development, which focus on issues of population, human development, and the creation of conditions for all generations, providing them with a decent life.
