UNFPA is seeking international consultant to provide technical support and expertise in drafting the mental health law and specific recommendations for its adaption in Kyrgyz Republic.
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in social science, gender studies, public health and/or any relevant subject.
- At least 10 years of experience working on MHPSS and psychosocial support or gender equality, GBV,
- At least 7 years of experience of developing strategy and policy papers, Guides and SOPs in MHPSS, public health and social psychology.
- Knowledge of UN Guides and SOPs in GBV response and MHPSS in emergency is asset
- Knowledge of Russian and English languages
UNFPA is engaging international consultant to provide technical support and expertise in drafting the mental health law and specific recommendations for its adaption in Kyrgyz Republic. It is anticipated that the mental health law will provide a
framework and standards for the protection/promotion of the rights of people with mental health conditions and to codify the principles, values, aims and objectives of mental health policies and plans.
